Guidance From Quran

 

Those Who Spend (Benevolently)
In Ease As Well As In Straitness, &
Those Who Restrain (Their) Anger 
And Pardon Men; And Allah Loves 
The Doers Of Good (To Others).

Holy Prophet (SAWA) said

 

“Verily, Anger Belongs To Satan, 
Satan Was Created From Fire, 
And Fire Is Put Out By Water. 
Therefore, Make Ablution When 
You Are Raised Into Anger.”

Imam Ali (AS) said

 

“The Fountainhead Of Merits 
Is The Overpowering Of Anger, 
And The Eradication Of Desire.”

Imam Al Baqir (AS) said

 

"He Who Suppresses His Anger 
Despite Being Able To Vent It, 
ALLAH SWT Will Fill His Heart 
With Peace And Security On 
The Day Of Resurrection."
